Tiles Must Be Seamed When They Are Laid
- Aug 23, 2018 -

Why do you want to tiling?

Tiles must be seamed when they are laid. Whether the tiles belong to “seamless bricks” or “round bricks”, it is necessary to leave seams when laying. Let's take a look at the reasons.

1.Wall tile gap size

The size of the wall tile of the kitchen and toilet should generally be about 1-1.5mm, not less than 1mm, and can be used as a reference by using gas nails or bags. Special effects can also widen the gap, such as 5mm. Like some antique bricks or exterior bricks, balcony bricks are better to leave the seams.

2. Floor tile gap size

Floor tiles, such as vitrified tiles, are generally left around 1.5-2mm when paved. The gap of the floor tiles is generally not too large. If it is too large, it is easy to accumulate dirt and affect the cleaning.
